At the carelessness of the company towards Red Velvet, fans can only sigh.

It is known that this is Red Velvet‘s first comeback after the mini-album Queendom released in August 2021. The group will hold a special concert called 2022 The ReVe Festival: Prologue on nights March 19th and 20th at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium (Korea) right before the new album’s release.

Since the big controversy of group leader Irene, every comeback of Red Velvet has been greatly appreciated by fans. Aside from the family concert held by SM every New Year’s Eve, this concert is the group’s first solo concert after 2 years and 3 months.

However, before the fans could rejoice, SM made them cry and laugh at the same time. The thing is, instead of updating the correct opening date for concert tickets as February 28th, SM mistakenly recorded it as… February 58th, making fans confused as to what year they could buy tickets.

Not long ago, SM also made fans lose their mood by suddenly postponing the release of Red Velvet’s first full Japanese album, Bloom, due to production problems. Since then, there has not been any new information, but netizens happened to discover that Bloom will be released on April 4th of year… 2099, which means 77 years from now, according to an online album distribution website.

It seems that SM has learned from YG in applying the Mars calendar to their artists, or this can be the calendar of KWANGYA, the virtual universe created by the company. Although this move was unexpected, the Red Velvet fandom just laughed it off, as this is not the first time SM has disappointed fans with their carelessness anyway.
