Lee Yu-jin, who starred in JTBC drama ‘SKY Castle’ as Woo Soo Han, and attended Produce X 101, shared how he has grown and challenged himself as an idol.
MBC’s 719th episode of “Radio Star,” which aired at 10:30 p.m. on the 5th, was decorated with a special episode of “Children We liked at that time” to mark Children’s Day. Lee Hong-ki, Ham Eun-jung, Wang Seok-hyun, Lee Yu-jin, and Jeon Sung-cho appeared as guests on the day.
Lee Yu-jin, who made his debut as the son of Jin Jin-hee (Oh Na-ra) in JTBC’s “Sky Castle,” reported his rapid growth in just two years. The actor revealed that he grew 25cm since 2019 and is now 184cm and 63 kg.
He also said he watched the movie “Swing Kids” when he had free time. Then Lee Yu-jin fell in love with actor Do Kyung-soo, but he belatedly found out that he was a member of EXO. “I thought that I should not only be good at acting but also sing and dance. I visited the local dance academy. He asked if I’d like to apply for “Produce X” in two weeks. As my acting skills improved through auditions, I applied for this dance. The first place was 7th and when I fell, it was 55th.”
When asked if it was a challenge for acting, he said, “I thought I should be an idol at that time.” He also talked about the situation in which he became toxic when he saw desperate cast members.
