“Don’t say such things on the broadcast”, Lee Mi-joo under fire for talking about her period with Yoo Jae-seok on TV show

Yoo Jae-seok had difficulties dealing with Mi-joo and Jessi because of the sudden story they brought up on the recent broadcast of “Sixth Sense 3”.

The new episode of tvN’s entertainment program “Sixth Sense 3”, which aired on the evening of April 22nd, showed Jessi talking about menstruation and Yoo Jae-seok being embarrassed by Mi-joo.

On this day, Yoo Jae-seok asked Jessi, who carried a backpack, “Which academy are you going to?”. Jessi shyly replied, “No, not that. I’m being like this because today is ‘that’ day.” Mi-joo took Yoo Jae-seok to the other side and said, “Don’t mess with her today. Not today”.

Seeing Jessi being shy for the whole day, Oh Na-ra asked, “Who had it during the filming last week?”. Embarrassed by the situation, Yoo Jae-seok said, “It’s good to see you guys think of me as a brother now. So what?”.

Mi-joo said, “I haven’t had it for two months due to post-Covid conditions”. Yoo Jae-seok immediately stopped her, “Don’t say such things. We’re on a broadcast.”

After the show was broadcast, the public gave mixed opinions. A part of the audience found this scene humorous. Many believe that Jessi and Mi Joo are trying to break the stereotype that menstruation is shameful by talking “openly and naturally” about it.

However, many viewers confirmed that Mi Joo had improper behavior. According to them, the female singer can talk about menstrual problems without joking around.

Discussing menstruation is not the problem. She can completely share how she missed her period due to Covid-19. The problem here is that she intentionally crossed the line and talked to a married man about her period. Just like Jae Suk said, they are filming, and this joke is not interesting at all“, one viewer commented.

Meanwhile, tvN’s entertainment program “Sixth Sense 3” airs every Friday at 8:40 p.m.
