Shin Min-ah and Kim Seon-ho proposed to each other. “Hometown Cha Cha Cha” finally came to an end with a perfect happy ending.
On tvN’s “Hometown Cha Cha Cha“ last episode which aired on Oct 17th, both Doo-sik (Kim Seon-ho) and Hye-jin (Shin Min-ah) proposed to each other. Doo-sik and Hye-jin, who overcame the trauma of the past, have been reborn as a lovey-dovey couple so cheesy that Gongjin residents just want to “bite” them. Hye-jin decided to propose, saying she didn’t want to leave Doo-sik alone after Doo-sik‘s short breakup with Hye-jin.
Hye-jin, who called Doo-sik to the beach that day, proposed, “Hong Ban-jang, will you marry me?” However, Doo-sik’s reaction to this is not good. He refused at once, said, “I hate it” and reacted in despair, saying, “I don’t hate you.”
It was because Doo-sik also prepared a proposal. “I was going to say it first. I’ve been preparing this for a long time thou”. Hye-jin then said to the sad Doo-sik, “Who goes first doesn’t matter. What’s important is that we both feel the same way. Then starting now, Hong Ban-jang should do it. I’ll pass you the baton. Let’s think of it as relay running,” she said, encouraging him. Only then did Doo-sik propose to Hye-jin, saying, “Let’s live with me with all the time left in this world.” Hye-jin replied with a confession of “I love you.”
As the bulldozer Hye-jin, she quickly prepared a schedule for sharing housework. Doo-sik then said affectionately, “Don’t let a drop of water get on your hand from now on,” and Hye-jin laughed, saying, “Such benefit. Then I’ll take care of your teeth from now on.”
“How long are you going to be the president? I don’t think serving the community necessarily needs to be limited to the president. Try to widen the spectrum,” she hinted, recommending city council members and lawmakers. In response, Doo-sik was puzzled, saying, “I saw that ambitious look on you again.” They also solved the name problem. As Doo-sik was recommending what name to call him now that they need to change the way they call each other, Hye-jin laughed, “Doo-sik? Doo-sik? Why is your name so funny?”
Doo-Sik, who implicitly recommended “oppa”, melted immediately after hearing Hye-jin calling him “oppa”, drawing a big laugh from the audience. While at it, Doo-sik and Hye-jin, who even planned for their second generation, reported the good news by declaring “We are getting married” at a gathering of Gongjin residents.
Soon, it was the day of the wedding shoot. Looking at Hye-jin dressed up in a pure white dress, Doo-sik couldn’t take his eyes off her. “Where did it go? The angel is supposed to have her wings,” he said. At the end of the drama was the scene of Doo-sik and Hye-jin taking wedding photos alone away from the village residents, ending the 16-episode voyage with a happy ending.
