Seungri is said to be at the ‘Burning Sun’ at the time of the assault
Suspicions have been raised that Big Bang’s Seungri was related with the assault at the “Burning Sun” club. However, there are also refutation and the public’s idea are sharply divided.
At 6:50 a.m. on November 24, security officers assaulted an ordinary man, Mr. A, at the club “Burning Sun” in Gangnam, Seoul.

The police and the club claim that Mr. A was arrested for obstruction of business first. However, Mr. A refuted, “The club staffs were trying to forcefully harm a woman, I was kicked out and assaulted after trying to stop them”.

During when the controversy broke out, an ordinary person posted past photos of her with Seungri on SNS. The date when the photo was posted is November 24, 2018 when the incident occurred.
Seungri in the picture is wearing a checkered gray jacket with a relaxed and seemingly drunk pose, looking at the camera.

The netizens claimed that Seungri was in the club at the time of the incident. It happened on the morning of the 24th, and he could not have known nothing about the incident because he ran the club himself.

But there were also objections that Seungri went into the club on the 23rd, not the 24th, and there is no conclusive evidence that he stayed there until 6:50 a.m. He may have left the scene before the incident.

For your information, it was Saturday. Burning Sun is open from 11 p.m. to 10 a.m. from Friday to Sunday.
Meanwhile, the official announcement of Seungri and YG has yet to be revealed in regard of the Burning Sun case.
