Amid Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin’s legal dispute with SM, the shooting for EXO’s comeback MV proceeds.
On June 1st, after EXO’s Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen issued a formal request to SM Entertainment through their attorney to end their exclusive contracts with the company, the filming for EXO’s MV for their upcoming comeback scheduled for June 2 was reportedly delayed.
However, in reaction to this report, an official from SM Entertainment affirmed that the MV filming will proceed as planned, involving all members of EXO, except for Kai, who recently enlisted in the military.
Earlier today, EXO’s Sehun updated his Instagram with two photos that appear to be taken on a filming set, indirectly confirming that EXO is in the middle of filming their MV as scheduled.
The previous day, before the news of Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin’s notice of exclusive contract termination broke, Sehun sent a message to fans on the private messaging app Bubble that reads, “Fighting! Let’s go. There are going to be a lot of unexpected things. Let’s have a fantastic day.”
Fans believe that Sehun was referring to Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin’s sudden notice and showing support for his fellow members.
