Prior to the release of MBC’s “Radio Star” September 14th episode, a teaser video containing a review of 2NE1’s heartfelt stage at Coachella was released through Naver TV.
In the video, Sandara Park told the story behind the formation of 2NE1’s full stage at Coachella, which is the group’s reunion after 7 years. In particular, the female idol started by saying, “It started at the suggestion of CL, who was invited to the Coachella Festival.” She also added, “There have been many requests to appear at broadcasting stations and awards ceremonies before, but they have always fall through. This time, everything is confirmed at once.”
According to Sandara Park, it wasn’t easy to perform at Coachella. “I had to write a memorandum of confidentiality. If it is leaked, the performance will be canceled with a penalty. I kept it a secret from my agency as well.”
The female idol then disclosed that she secretly practiced at 10PM every night at a dance academy run by Gong Minzy, and surprised everyone by adding, “I also lied to my manager that I was going to meet a friend”.
MC Kim Gura then asked Sandara Park about her feelings to stand on stage with 2NE1 after a long time. Replying to this, Sandara Park said, “I haven’t been on stage for 7 years. Along with this, Sandara Park also shared an episode related to her “Vegeta hairstyle”, which was a hot topic at the time. In particular, she said, “I had to keep it a secret. I bowed my head in the car on my way to the concert hall, and I bent my neck sideways because of the extremely tall hairstyle. Just before our stage, however, a gust of wind began to blow like a disaster movie. That’s why my hair is so damaged.”
