Sakura reportedly signed an exclusive contract with HYBE, will head to Korea this month
Japanese media reported that Miyawaki Sakura signed an exclusive contract with HYBE Labels.
A Japanese media company called WoW Korea reported on August 18 that Miyawaki Sakura, a former member of IZ*ONE, signed a contract with HYBE labels.
A representative of Sakura also told WoW Korea that “Sakura Miyawaki signed a contract with HYBE and will leave Japan to head to Korea within this month.”
Earlier in Korea, it was reported that the female idol will join a new girl group produced by HYBE Labels and Source Music, together with Kim Chae-won.
Sakura, who debuted as the first member of HKT48 in 2001, used to appear on Mnet’s “Produce 48” in 2018 and debuted as a member IZ*ONE. She graduated from HKT48 in June and was constantly rumored to sign an exclusive contract with Big Hit Music.
