Right after “Queendom 2”, Loona’s Chuu to suspend certain group activities? Fans expressed disappointment
It was reported that Loona’s Chuu will not be participating in the 1st world tour of her group.
On the afternoon of June 3rd, Loona’s agency, Blockberry Creative, announced on the group’s official fan cafe that Chuu will not be participating in the 2022 Loona 1st World Tour.
According to Blockberry, Chuu will be busy with pre-confirmed schedules for the second half of the year, and thus cannot perform in the world tour. The agency also asked for the understanding of Orbits (Loona’s fandom).
At such sudden news, fans and netizens are expressing disappointment, especially when Chuu is one of the main vocalists of Loona.
Previously in December 2021, Chuu reportedly applied to suspend the validity of her exclusive contract with Blockberry Creative. At this time, the agency did not express a clear stance regarding this matter.
Loona recently appeared on the Mnet music program “Queendom 2”, from which the group emerged as the runner-up. To maintain the Queendom hype, Loona is to release their special summer mini album “Fl!p That” on June 20th.
