Red Velvet Wendy ranks 1st place in the survey of female singers who would suit the image of a classical performer

Red Velvet Wendy was picked as the No.1 female singer who suits the image of a classical performer.

According to Ten Asia, a survey under the theme “Female singer who can become a classical performer?” was conducted on “Top 10 Ten Asia” website from November 24th to November 30th.

As a result of the vote, Wendy from Red Velvet topped the list with 459 hearts.

Wendy’s group Red Velvet released their new mini album “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday” on November 28th. This is the second album in the series “The ReVe Festival 2022” introduced by the girl group, and it has a total of 5 songs, including “Birthday”, “BYE BYE”, “On A Ride”, “ZOOM”, and “Celebrate”.

The title “Birthday” is a trap rhythm-based pop dance song that samples “Rhapsody in Blue” by George Gershwin and combines rhythmic drums with cool synth sounds. Its lyrics contain the confident confession that “every day will be as fun as a birthday if you’re with me”, and the story of returning to the birthday of the person you like and presenting them with an unforgettable day by making all their wishes come true. 

Following Wendy, NewJeans Minji came in second place with 388 hearts. NewJeans will release their new single album “OMG” on January 2nd next year. “OMG” includes the title track that was made during the production of their debut album “New Jeans” and a winter track specially prepared by NewJeans for their first winter with Bunnies (NewJeans’s fandom).

No.3 was taken by Secret Number Dita, who earned 186 hearts. Secret Number released their 5th single album’s title track “TAP” on November 16th. “TAP” is a song that expresses the sincere heart and bold energy of Secret Number. It contains the straightforward message of approaching another person’s heart with a “tap”.
