Red Velvet ranked #1 on Idol Chart, followed by BTS

SM’s girl group Red Velvet has won the crown for no. 1 on Idol Chart.

According to the chart on August 17th, after the first week of August, Red Velvet has topped the list with a total of 3,512 points, including 194 points for music, 65 for albums and 1,299 points for SNS. Red Velvet has shown variety of overwhelming performances, therefore they’ve claimed the 1st place in Gaon Chart both album wise and music wise.

"Power Up" helped RED VELVET to earn their first Perfect All-kill in the career.

Red Velvet, who swept the summer of last year with “Red Flavor”, has become the new “Summer Queens” and they are continuing their summer invasion by taking over the music charts with their latest song, “Power Up”.


Following Red Velvet was BTS, who earned 2785 points in total. They were the second-ranked player that has fallen down one step, but they still showed their ability to earn high points even though they were inactive.

Blackpink has proved their fame in Japan with the success of finishing the “Blackpink Arena Tour 2018” on July 24th in Osaka Hall.

3rd place was taken by BLACKPINK (2379 points in total), and then TWICE (1982 points in total), MeloMance (1703 points in total), WANNA ONE (1667 points in total), MAMAMOO (1457 points) G-FRIEND (1379 points), NU’EST W (1327 points) and IKON (1301 points).
