In August 8, 2 group teaser images for Red Velvet’s 6th mini album ‘Queendom’ were officially released on SNS.
In their individual teasers released earlier, Red Velvet raised high expectations with their mysterious and different outlooks.
In this group teasers, they showed off their unique charismas. 5 members shined with 5 colors as each of them gave different pose in front of the background of mini buildings.
Their unique styles looked outstanding either. Especially, the background gave the feel of a tiny world, raising curiosities and high expectations towards the concept of the album.
Red Velvet’s amazing visuals were also eye-catching. They put on chic and powerful expressions, which make their fans excited for seeing them in such a mature look.
Their new album has 6 songs in total. The title song “Queendom”, the same name with the album, is a refreshing pop dance song.
The song’s rhythm is a harmony of the impressive synth base and the sound of flute and brass riff. The most special feature is its addictive chorus.
The lyrics of the song also contains positive messages. The explanation of the lyrics said “We are all the queens of our lives. Together we will shine more beautifully.”
Red Velvet will release their new album on digital sites on August 16 and the physical album will be open for sale on August 17.
