“Reborn Rich” amazes viewers by hitting a new viewer rating peak of 21%

Drama “Reborn Rich”, starring Song Joong Ki and Lee Sung Min, achieved a new highest viewership record.

According to the rating research company Nielsen Korea, episode 11 of JTBC’s Fri-Sat-Sun drama “Reborn Rich”, which aired on December 11th, recorded a nationwide viewer rating of 21.12%.

By surpassing the previous rating peak of 19.44%, “Reborn Rich” set a new highest viewership record. The drama, which has been steadily rising in ratings, eventually went over 20%. Among weekly mini-series broadcasted this year, “Reborn Rich” is the only drama whose viewer rating exceeds 20%. 

In episode 11, Jin Yang Chul (Lee Sung Min) showed symptoms of delirium, which is a mental state caused by shock and confusion, when he found out that Jin Sung Joon (Kim Nam Hee) was behind his traffic accident. Jin Yang Chul’s condition became more serious that he didn’t even recognize Jin Do Joon (Song Joong Ki).

Meanwhile, “Reborn Rich” is a fantasy drama about a secretary, who manages the assets of a chaebol family, living his second life after being reincarnated as the youngest son of that chaebol family. Arousing more explosive responses through each new episode, this is currently one of the most popular dramas.

The 16-episode series “Reborn Rich” has released 11 episodes. It airs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 10:30 p.m.
