Produce 48 is involved in a controversy for biased broadcasting: ‘Special treatment for Wisupul’.

It is a controversy that claims that only trainees from certain agencies are encouraged to receive a good evaluation from the broadcast. The people who are at the center of this controversy are the so-called “Wisupul”.
It was named ‘Wisupul’ by netizens, to describe these companies: Yuehua Entertainment, Stone Music Entertainment, Starship Entertainment, and Pledis Entertainment.
On Mnet Produce 48, which broadcasted yesterday on July 20th, the position evaluation challenge of the surviving trainees was drawn, as a result of the first ranking announcement. A total of 57 people were evaluated.
Many people in the top twelve, which was open to the public, appear to be in Wisupul, and the suspicion has been increasing. It is confirmed that the trainees who have already been named in the debut ranking are Lee Ga Eun, Ahn Yujin, Jang Wonyoung and Choi Yena.
There is also suspicion that there was a bias in the production of ‘Produce 48’, behind their popularity.
Originally, the intention of the program was to debut an idol group that was chosen by the audience, but some viewers think that only the members who belong to those agencies, which were highlighted on the broadcast, received a positive evaluation.
In addition, some of the viewers also insisted that “The interview was edited and they announced from the last while the Japanese was in the first”.
The life of trainees who participated in this survival program are unequal. People will now pay attention to how the production team will explain the dispute over the partiality and the subsequent controversy over unfairness.
