YTN on April 23th said that Park Yoochun had been allegedly requested for an arrest warrant.
According to the report, police were afraid that Park Yoochun would escape or destroy all the evidence, so they sought a warrant to arrest Park Yoochun.
Especially, YTN also reported that the results of the National Institute of Scientific Investigation’s drug tests could produce evidence for the investigation.
On July 16th, Police sent Park Yoochun’s hair and body hair to The National Institute of Scientific Investigation and after an exact assessment, the result on 23th could not prove that Park Yoochun had used drugs.
Earlier this year, Hwang Hana said she had spent hundreds of thousands of won buying methamphetamine and used it with Park Yoochun. Police has obtained the aforementioned CCTV videos in Hwang’s point of view which recorded Park Yoochun paying for drugs and met Hwang Hana after that.
However Park Yoochun only confirmed that he did receive money but only did the delivery job for her and denied every other allegations.
The drug investigation unit of the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency called in Park for five hours from 10:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on the 22nd for investigation. This was followed by a series of investigations conducted on July 17 and 18, after which Park Yoochun still denied all allegations.
Police decided not to conduct a investigation of Park Yoochun and Hwang Hana after receiving the result of the National Institute of Scientific Investigation on 23th and decided to filed a request for an arrest warrant.
The interrogation of suspects before arrested is expected to be held tomorrow if early.
