Penthouse’s Lee Ji Ah confirmed to join the cast of the upcoming K-drama “First Lady”

Actress Lee Ji Ah will star in another work written by the screenwriter of “Penthouse”. 

According to a June 3rd article on YTN Star, actress Lee Ji Ah will become a cast member of the new tvN drama “First Lady”. The series will be directed by Choi Young Hoon, who was behind famous projects like “One The Woman”, “Good Casting”, and “Sister is Alive”, and will be penned by Kim Soon Ok, the writer of hit K-drama “Penthouse”.

The series will revolve around the story of a first lady, where Lee Ji Ah will assume double roles, similar to what she did in “Penthouse.” 

This will be Lee Ji Ah’s first return to the small screen after shining in the three installments of the “Penthouse” series. There, she played the roles of female lead Shim Su Ryeon and the minor yet pivotal character Na Ae Kyo, and received great love for her outstanding acting skills and elegant visuals and fashion.

Lee Ji Han made her acting debut in the 2007 drama series “The Legend”, before gaining attention through future works like “Beethoven Virus”, “Style”, “Athena: Goddess of War”, “Me Too, Flower!”, and “Thrice Married Woman”.
