Park Ha-sun confesses the hurtful feelings of being the school bullying victim 

Actress Park Ha-sun talked about the damage caused by school violence.

On April 26th, Park Ha-sun shared talks with director Kim Ji-hoon and the lead actor Chun Woo-hee of the movie “I Want to Know Your Parents” about school bullying on her radio show – SBS Power FM’s “Park Ha-sun’s Cinetown”.

Introducing school violence as the movie’s theme, director Kim said, “There are many physical forms of disasters. Bullying caused disaster to the soul. There is no way to recover it”.

The director added, “Destruction in the soul cannot be recovered even when times and seasons go by”, emphasizing, “When a physical disaster occurs, we can fix it, but destruction in souls cannot be recovered. So it should never happen”.

In response, Park Ha-sun confessed, “I did experience that. The bullying perpetrator threw textbooks at me and took away my desk. When the bully was doodling on my desk with chalks in front of me, I didn’t respond. They stopped teasing me after getting bored. But I remember those memories for such a long time”.

I Want to Know Your Parents” is a movie about a student who killed himself and left a letter with 4 names written on it. It’s a movie that depicts the ugly bare faces of parents who try to cover up the incident for their children who are the perpetrators. It will be released on April 27th.
