“Our Blues” is also popular overseas as it ranked 4th among non-English works on Netflix 

“Our Blues” tells the stories of 15 main characters in the form of an omnibus according to the writer Roh Hee-kyung’s message that “everyone’s life is valuable and they should be happy.” With the background of Pureung Village in Jeju Island, the drama draws various stories of people born and raised there. The story stimulates sympathy and comfort from the audience through various relationships such as friends, lovers, colleagues, siblings, and mother-son.

“Our Blues” ranked eighth in the global TV show category as of Jun 7th on Flixpatrol, which provides content rankings of OTT platforms around the world. The drama ranked fourth in the non-English-speaking content category according to a ranking site officially provided by Netflix. Studio Dragon also added that its IMDb page, a global content review site, is full of positive reviews as well.

CP Jang Jeong-do of Studio Dragon, who is in charge of “Our Blues,” said, “I was curious about how the drama can appeal to global viewers with a storytelling that is set in a small village in Jeju Island and contains Korean emotions, and I am grateful to viewers around the world for supporting and affection for these stories.”

Episode 19 of “Our Blues” will air at 9:10 p.m. on Jun 11th. The 20th episode, the final episode, will be aired on Jun 12th.
