Song Hye-kyo and Jang Ki-yong will portray a realistic love affair.
SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Now, We Are Breaking Up” (writer Jane/director Lee Gil-bok/creator Kang Eun-kyung (Plot Line)), which will air on November 12th, is a sweet, salty, sour and bitter breakup actually written as “goodbye” and read as “love”.
On October 23rd, the second teaser of “Now, We Are Breaking Up” was released. The colorful fashion industry, which is the main setting of the drama, and the work & love story of Song Hye-kyo and Jang Ki-yong – two main characters in their 30s – are realistically drawn to increase viewers’ interest.
The second teaser begins with a car accident in the rain. Next, Song Hye-kyo, who is living in conflict with reality, appears. She shouts, “I’m not okay. I’ve been running all day for the past 10 years and I’ve put everything I can into it.” Through her tearful eyes and trembling voice, we can guess how hard Song Hye-kyo has been living day by day in “Now, We Are Breaking Up”.
This suggests why she had no choice but to lead a life like this as the narration goes “I’ve lost everything to love. I promised myself I would never do that again.” However, a man appears to break Song Hye-kyo‘s pledge. It is Jang Ki-yong, who introduces himself as a photographer. Jang Ki-yong’s appearance into her life is both a coincidence and destiny that shakes Song Hye-kyo‘s heart.
“I thought it wouldn’t work if I did it vaguely. I would not be able to have a normal relationship,” Song Hye-kyo asks Jang Ki-yong, who smiles broadly at her, “Why are you laughing like that?” In response, Jang Ki-yong replies in an excited voice, “I like it. Because you called me.” Then, the two finally look and smile at each other.
At this time, Song Hye-kyo‘s narration, “A normal relationship that I thought would not work, came to me,” is heard once again. It can be seen that the ordinary love between the two began, and that this ordinary relationship made the hearts of the two, who lived in conflict with reality, flutter.
The second teaser of “Now, We Are Breaking Up” also portrayed the emotion of Song Hye-kyo and Jang Ki-yong who will fall in love, capturing viewers in an instant. It also showed the full-fledged story for the first time, highlighting the splendor of the fashion industry, which is the main setting of the drama. Above all, Song Hye-kyo and Jang Ki-yong will draw not a fantasy but a realistic normal relationship.
Meanwhile, SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Now, We Are Breaking Up” was joined by author “Misty” Jane, director Lee Gil-bok of “Dr. Romantic 2,” and author Line & Kang Eun-kyung, who created “Misty” and “The World of the Married”. “Now, We Are Breaking Up” will be aired for the first time on November 12th at 10pm following the drama “Wonder Woman”.
