BTS topped the Boy Group Brand Reputation Ranking in November.
The Korean Business Research Institute extracted 55,812,992 big data of boy groups from Oct. 13th, 2021 to Nov. 13th, 2021 to measure KPOP boy group brand reputation ranking. This brand reputation ranking was determined through an analysis of consumer behaviors, which is sorted into participation index, media index, communication index and community index.
The brand reputation index is an indicator created based on brand big data analysis that looks into consumers’ online habits. Boy group reputation analysis can provide a precise evaluation on media interest, consumer interest, communication frequency of the boy groups.
30 boy groups in the Brand Reputation Ranking in November 2021 in order are BTS, Seventeen, NCT, EXO, The Boyz, Astro, SHINee, 2AM, Enhypen, MONSTA X, 2PM, TXT, BTOB, INFINITE, HIGHLIGHT, SF9, Stray Kids, WINNER, ONF, SUPER JUNIOR, VIXX, NU’EST, ATEEZ, BIGBANG, TREASURE, Pentagon, B1A4, TVXQ, Golden Child, FT Island.
Director of the Korean Business Research Institute Koo Chang-hwan said, “As a result of big data analysis in November 2021, BTS ranked No.1. The boy group brand category increased 8.73% compared to October’s brand big data (51.330.325). According to detailed analysis, brand consumption data went up 6.85%, brand issue increased 37.53%, while brand communication and brand expansion decreased 1.33% and 9.72%, respectively.
He continued, “The No.1 in the Brand Reputation Ranking in November 2021 was BTS. The high-ranking words related to BTS were ‘break through’, ‘perform’ and ‘boycott’. Meanwhile, BTS”s highest-ranking keywords are ‘HYBE’, ‘concert’, ‘Army’. In addition, BTS received a positive score of 63.59%. According to detailed analysis of BTS’s brand reputation, brand consumption data fell 0.19%, brand issue decreased 16.72%, brand communication fell 33.57%, and brand expansion decreased 34.28%.”
