A controversial debut – “The more expectations fans raised, the more disappointed they got”
With the formation of so many talented members, NMIXX was expected to have an explosive debut. The girl group decided to release their debut song “O.O” on February 22nd, 2022. However, immediately after the MV of “O.O” was revealed, NMIXX received mixed responses from netizens.
According to netizens’ comments, “O.O” is uncatchy; its melody is so messy and unmatched, while the lyrics are meaningless. Many fans were disappointed and they even questioned why JYP selected such a bad song for a promising girl group like NMIXX.
