Police have confirmed that JYJ’s Park Yoo-chun (33-year-old) did use drug.
MBC’s “News Desk,” which aired on 17th night, recently reported an incident involving JYJ Park Yoo-chun, who was questioned by police on suspicion of taking drugs with Hwang Ha-na – the 31-year-old granddaughter of the founder of Namyang Dairy.
Around 10 a.m, Park Yoo-chun appeared at the Gyeonggi Southern Provincial Police Agency. Before entering, he briefly said, “I’ll come out with a sincere investigation as it is,” and avoided questions from reporters asking about the drugs charges.
In particular, Park Yoo-chun was known to have removed most hairs on his body in advance of a police investigation. Since the substance of drugs remained in hair roots disappears through frequent dying and bleaching, the police has to collect and investigate the body. Police said they suspected the destruction of evidence from Park Yoo-chun, but Park Yoo-chun explained that “I usually do the bleaching and dying hair before the concert schedule”.
According to “News Desk,” there are four to five times of Park Yoo-chun’s drugs use. Police believe his ex-girlfriend, Hwang Ha-na and Park Yoo-chun, met frequently earlier this year and used them together.
Moreover, police also caught a CCTV video of the two men going to Park Yoo-chun’s house in Hanam-dong, Gyeonggi Province, and Hwang Ha-na’s house in Hannam-dong. They are considering confronting Hwang Ha-na soon.
