New York Times’ Big Article on BTS

BTS has appeared on The New York Times. Their name and picture took up quite a large space in the newspaper.

On the last 7th (local time), a music review article regarding BTS concert written by Jon Caramanica appeared on The New York Times.

He described BTS as “the most successful K-pop singers in America.” The concert was said to be “a Saturday night’s vibrant, sometimes seismic concert, with a sold-out crowd of about 40,000” and were lively enough to shake the ground. He also wrote “The smiles in the crowd were brighter than any light.

Most of their lyrics were in Korean, but it did not matter,” he said. “It’s a bit mysterious to me, until I looked up the lyrics, and then I knew the message they were trying to convey was really beautiful.

Meanwhile, BTS finished their North America tour after the New York Citi Field performance on October 6th (local time). On October 9th (local time), they will start a ‘Love Yourself’ Europe tour at London’s The O2 Arena.
