New weekend dramas to be scheduled to air from June

2023 is already near the halfway point. Broadcasting companies are also ready to release new weekend dramas accordingly.

SBS’ Friday-Saturday drama “The Devil” is written by Kim Eun Hee, one of the masters of genre. Im Sung Han, the writer of “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)”, which recorded the highest ratings in TV Chosun drama history, returned to TV Chosun after a year. TV Chosun’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Mrs. Durian” is a fantasy melodrama about two women from a noble family in the Joseon dynasty getting entangled with men through time travel to the year 2023, the present. Actors such as Choi Myung Gil, Park Joo Mi, Kim Min Jun, Jeon No Min, Yoon Hae Young and Han Da Gam will appear. It is scheduled to air on June 17th.

“King the Land”

“King the Land”, the follow-up to JTBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “Doctor Cha”, tells the story of Goo Won (Lee Jun Ho), the heir of luxury hotel conglomerate The King Group who was thrown into an inheritance war, and Cheon Sa Rang (Im Yoona), a hotelier who always has an smile on her face till she meets Goo Won. It is scheduled to air on June 17th.

“See You in My 19th Life”

tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “See You in My 19th Life” tells the reincarnation romance that takes place when Ban Ji Eum (Shin Hye Sun), who can remember her past life, finds Moon Seo Ha (Ahn Bo Hyun), the person she has to meet again. It is based on the Naver webtoon of the same name, which recorded about 700 million global cumulative views.

In particular, Shin Hye Sun, who has never failed in the fantasy genre, is raising expectations day after day as she returned 3 years after tvN’s drama “Mr. Queen”. It is scheduled to air on June 17th.

“Numbers”

MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “Numbers” tells the various stories that unfold within an accounting firm. It revolves around Jang Ho Woo (Kim Myung Soo), an accountant with a high school diploma who fights against injustice. Aside from Kim Myung Soo, Choi Jin Hyuk, Choi Min Soo and Yeonwoo confirmed their appearances in “Numbers”.
