Netizens are shocked to look back at this record that IU made back in 2017

The number of streaming of IU’s fourth full album “Palette” released in 2017 attracted netizens’ attention.

On February 22nd, a post titled “Album with more than 980,000,000 streams” was posted on the online community theqoo. The post showed the number of streams that the songs from IU‘s fourth full-length album “Palette” received.

The title song “Palette” recorded about 198 million, “Through the Night” about 356 million, “Can’t Love You Anymore” about 130 million, and “Dear Name” about 57 million, and the entire stream number of the album was about 986 million. 

Netizens commented, “It’s the best album among IU’s albums,” “Through the Night” and “Dear Name” are so good,” and “The streaming number is crazy.”

IU‘s fourth full album “Palette” was released in 2017 and is the most streamed album in Korea. “Palette” has one song with 300 million streams and two songs with 100 million streams, and has set a record for one song with 6 million downloads “Through The Night“) and five songs with 2.5 million downloads (Can’t Love You Anymore, Pallette, Dear Name, Ending Scene, dlwlrma).

Meanwhile, IU reportedly prepared for her 2022 concert at Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium in Seoul but canceled the plan due to COVID-19.
