Netflix’s CEO praised ‘Squid Game’, “This film could become Netflix’s biggest hit ever”

The Netflix series “Squid Game”, is still gaining great success worldwide.

According to CNET on September 27 (local time), Netflix co-CEO and content director Ted Sarandos said at a Code Conference in LA, “Squid Game will be the best non-English content on this platform.” CEO Ted continued, “Squid Game could be Netflix’s best hit ever”

Although the criteria for measuring the popularity of their movies have not been disclosed, traditionally, Netflix uses the number of people who watch at least 2 minutes in 28 days after the film is premiered as a popularity indicator. According to this criteria, “Squid Game” will become the most popular series of Netflix, beating “Bridgerton”, which was released in 2020.
