Netflix to bring hit series “Squid Game” to life through a reality show “Squid Game: The Challenge”

Netflix revealed the production plan for the reality show “Squid Game: The Challenge”, which will be participated by 456 people around the world.

On June 14th (local time), Netflix announced on their SNS that they would produce “Squid Game”, which gained huge popularity, as a reality program.

Under the motto of “Squid Game”, the reality program titled “Squid Game: The Challenge” will actually gather participants to compete for $4.56 million (about 5.88 billion won) in prize money. This program will have the largest cast (456 people) and a lump sum cash prize ($4.56 million) in reality TV history.

“Squid Game: The Challenge” is planned to have 10 episodes in total and anyone who can speak English from all over the world can apply.

Applicants must have a valid passport for the entire filming period and be able to travel to all designated locations. The program will launch in early 2023 and filming is expected to last for 4 weeks.
