Boy group NCT (under SM Entertainment) accumulated over 10 million physical sales in 2021.
NCT sold 9,056,000 copies this year, including albums released by 3 units NCT 127, NCT DREAM and WayV. The group’s old albums also recorded 1,855,000 copies. As such, their album sales reached a total of 10,911,000 copies (as of December 27th).
In particular, NCT DREAM attracted attention by selling 3.31 million copies with the first full-length album “Hot Sauce” released in May and its repackage “Hello Future” released in June. Meanwhile, NCT 127 sold 3.62 million copies with the third full-length album “Sticker” released in September and its repackage “Favorite” released in October.
In addition, NCT’s third full-length album “Universe”, which was released in December, has also recorded sales of more than 1.74 million copies so far.
As various teams such as NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV and NCT U proved their hot popularity on the global stage this year, the public is paying more attention to NCT’s future activities.
NCT will participate in the “2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon”, which is scheduled to air on December 31st.
