NCT Dream sets a record as SM’s highest pre-order album of all time, surpassing many albums of BTS, BLACKPINK

More worth mentioning, this is only the first full album in NCT Dream’s career!

NCT Dream has been back at 6 pm today (May 10) KST with MV Hot Sauce and an album of the same name.  Hot Sauce is the first full album in this SM boygroup’s career.  On the eve of the official release, this album has set a surprising record of an SM group.  The album received a total of 1,716,571 pre-orders (as of May 9). It’s an increase of 243% compared to the previous album.  This is also SM’s highest pre-order record of all time.

Moreover, pre-order sales of Hot Sauce also helped NCT Dream surpass many BTS and BLACKPINK albums such as The Album (BLACKPINK – 1 million copies), Love Yourself: Her (BTS – 1.05 million copies), Love Yourself:  Tear (1.49 million copies), Love Yourself: Answer (BTS – 1.51 million copies).

With this number of 1.7 million copies, NCT Dream becomes a group that can continue to succeed in the album segment after EXO. 

NCT Dream has released the first full album Hot Sauce with the MV at 6 p.m. May 10.  The album marked the maturity of 7 SM boys after more than 2 years and 8 months.  According to Mark, many people have placed a lot of expectations on the album, not only the company, NCT Dream but also the fans.  Let’s wait for the next impressive achievements that Hot Sauce will achieve in the coming time.
