Actor Nam Goong-min of “The Veil” has surpassed the main couple of “Hometown Cha-cha-cha” to win 1st on this month’s “Drama Actor/Actress Brand Reputation Chart”.
According to the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation on Oct 11th, after the big data analysis of drama actor/actress brand reputation in October 2021 was conducted, Nam Goong-min came in 1st, followed by Kim Seon-ho in 2nd and Shin Min-ah in 3rd place.
This is the result after measuring 95,975,044 the branding big data of 50 actors/actresses appearing in drama series aired from September 11th to today (Oct 11th). with brand reputation algorithms which include consumers’ brand participation, media appearance, communication, and community.
1st-place Nam Goong-min’s brand was analyzed to have a brand reputation index of 7,318,385 (which includes 1,688,029 in participation index, 1,072,584 in media index, 2,490,207 in communication index and 2,067,565 in community index).
Compared with his brand reputation index of 2,073,942 in September, he has risen 252,87%. Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Insitute of Corporate Reputation, explained, “Nam Goong-min appeared as “strong, enthusiastic and open-minded” in big data link analysis, and “bulk-up, The Veil, muscle” in keyword analysis”.
Nam Goong-min current appearance on MBC “The Veil” depicts a dark battle within the NIS agents through the story of Han Ji-hyuk who is struggling to find the traitor that killed his colleague a year ago which suffered him. He plays the role of NIS agent Han Ji-hyuk. He is receiving many positive responses for his action scene and recently bulk-up body.
According to Nielsen Korea, a rating agency, the 8th episode of “the Veil” which aired on Oct 9th has an averaged nationwide rating of 7.8%, with the highest viewer rating reaching 10.6%.
