“My Name” Han So Hee: “Please enjoy the action scenes I did with all might”

The “My Name” cast joined each other for a talk about the action scenes.

On the morning of Oct 5th, Netflix held a press conference to present the new original series “My Name” (written by Kim Bada, directed by Kim Jin-min) live online. Director Han So-hee, Park Hee-soon, Ahn Bo-hyun, Kim Sang-ho, Lee Hak-joo, Jang Ryul, and Kim Jin-min attended the event.

Han So-hee said, “The action genre of ‘My Name’ is a revenge-type action series.” There are many desperate actions. The audience will be able to enjoy scenes that we did with all our might,” she said confidently. Park Hee-soon also said, “It’s an ’emotional action’ because emotions are added without the help of wire or computer graphics, and it’s a ‘real action’ because they all actually had to bump into everything and get tangled up.” To Ahn Bo-hyun, it is “fast-firing action.” “Everything passes by in a blink of an eye,” he said. Lee Hak-joo also nicknamed it ‘self-sufficient action’ because he did it to survive on his own. Jang Yul was also confident that he would deliver the sense of realism as it is, which is why he called it “VR action.”

“My Name” is a series about the harsh truth and revenge that Ji-woo (Han So-hee), who entered the mafia organization to find the culprit who killed her father, faces after infiltrating the police under a new name. Han So-hee challenges all-time action acting by playing Ji-woo, who abandoned her name to infiltrate the police under the name of Oh Hye-jin to find the culprit who killed her father. People are expecting what kind of transformation Han So-hee, who has emerged as the hottest rookie in “The World of Married,” will show in the action genre after erasing her feminine beauty.

The role of Mujin, who accepted Ji-woo as a member of the mafia group and ordered her to infiltrate the police as an undercover, will be played by Park Hee-soon, and Ahn Bo-hyun will play the detective of the drug investigation unit who became Ji-woo’s partner – Pildo. Director Kim Jin-min, who surprised the world last year with the series “Extracurricular,” was in charge of directing.
