Entertainer Moon Se-yoon is being criticized for mentioning actor Kim Seon-ho in his speech at the 2021 KBS Entertainment Awards. Criticism continues online, claiming that it is inappropriate in many ways for him to mention Kim Seon-ho, who was disrupted by the abortion scandal.
Moon Se-yoon received his first entertainment award since his debut at the 2021 KBS Entertainment Awards held on Dec 25th.
During his acceptance speech, he expressed his gratitude by mentioning four other members one after another of the entertainment show “2 Days 1 Night.” After that, he hesitated for a while and said, “I can’t be with you now, but I want to say thank you to Seon-ho.”
Some female communities were then infested with Moon Se-yoon’s acceptance speech. On Dec 26th, more than 100 articles criticizing Moon Se-yoon were posted on an online community. Referring to Kim Seon-ho’s abortion scandal, netizens criticized Moon Se-yoon, saying, “He almost ruined the broadcast, so what are you thankful for?”
One netizen said, “I’m not going to watch ‘2 Days 1 Night’ anymore because of Moon Se-yoon,” adding, “It’s really annoying to see him covering up the abortion scandal just because they are close.” “Did Kim Seon-ho leave the show for a good reason?” There are also netizens who criticized, referring to Moon Se-yoon’s daughter, “Does a father with a daughter have to mention Kim Seon-ho, who is suspected of forced abortion?”
Dozens of posts criticizing Moon Se-yoon were also posted on social media networks such as Twitter.
On October 17th, Kim Seon-ho was embroiled in allegations that he urged his ex-lover to have an abortion under the pretext of marriage. Kim Seon-ho’s ex-lover, A, revealed through an online community that she had erased the child due to Kim Seon-ho’s false conciliations, but after the procedure, Kim Seon-ho’s attitude changed and even one-sidedly notified her of their breakup.
