MK of group ONF will start his military service today (Dec 21st).
According to WM Entertainment, ONF’s agency, MK will enter the training center that day to receive basic military training, and will soon fulfill his military duty as active duty. In order to prevent the spread of the pandemic, the location and time of MK’s enlistment won’t be disclosed and will be proceeded without a separate procedure.
In accordance with the members’ opinions who wanted to minimize the gap in their group activities earlier, the agency has announced that all Korean members would join the military at the same time. MK is the first member to start his service in the military.
ONF released its sixth mini-album “Goosebumps” on Dec 3rd and carried out their promoting activities. For about four days from Dec 9th to the 12th, their first solo concert “ONF 2021 LIVE CONTACT: CODE #1. [REVERSE]” was held for the group to communicate directly with fans through offline performances after 2 long years and delivered their last greeting before getting enlisted.
MK said at the concert, “I will come back as a more mature person. I will become a person who can repay FUSE (ONF’s official fanclub)’s love. While waiting for the summer when we can meet again, I just want to say that I sincerely love FUSE, my members, and my family.”
Meanwhile, ONF released their sixth mini-album “Goosebumps” on Dec 3rd and have topped the charts on many major domestic music sites, proving their name at home and abroad by ranking at the top of the iTunes top album chart in 16 regions and countries around the world. In addition, they even broke their own initial record and recorded a career-high, wrapping up their official album activities after Dec 19th.
Starting with MK’s enlistment today (Dec 21st), J-Us and Wyatt will enter the training center on Dec 27th, and Hyojin and E-TION on the 28th.
