Miyawaki Sakura burst into tears at the end of her last Japanese radio show, “I will try to grow into a more mature Sakura”

IZ*ONE Miyawaki Sakura greeted the listeners for the last time on her Japanese radio broadcast.

Miyawaki Sakura expressed her impression as a DJ on Japan’s bayFM “Tonight, Under The Sakura Tree” in the last broadcast on September 29.

Sakura said, “A lot of things have happened. This broadcast went well, so I can now open my heart. I never thought this radio would be loved by so many people. I felt thankful to the staff and the listeners who have listened to this radio until the end.”

Then, while crying, Sakura made a promise for the future, “However, I don’t think this will be the last time because we don’t know what will happen in our life. Maybe I will do another broadcast like this again in about a month, or we can meet each other somewhere else unexpectedly. Therefore, I will try to grow into a more mature Miyawaki Sakura so that I can confidently open my heart to you on the day we meet again.”

In addition, Sakura continued to express her gratitude to the listeners, “Please continue to support me. Thank you so much. Thank you to the listeners who have been with me for this whole period of 4 and a half years. I really enjoyed doing this broadcast.”

Meanwhile, regarding the news reporting Miyawaki Sakura has already completed signing her exclusive contract with HYBE, the company stated, “We can’t confirm the details of the artist’s contract. We want to ask for your understanding.”
