Mnet’s Business Department Manager Kim Ki-woong showed confidence in MAMA’s lineup this year.

The cable channel Mnet’s ‘2018 MAMA’ press conference was held on November 26th, with Kim Ki-woong, head of the Mnet’s business department, and Kim Hyun-soo, director of the music convention division.

Kim Ki-woong said, “The artists who were active in 2018 will participate. It’s been 10 years, so we are planning to have a large number of celebrities.” He added, “Also, MOMOLAND, who has had an unexpected rise to become a star this year, and MOMMY SON of ‘Show me the money 777’ will have a collaboration. You can expect a lot from their performance.“

He also revealed “Pop legend Michael Jackson’s sister Janet Jackson is participating, along with one of the most famous Chinese-born solo artist JJ Lin, and Yutaka Matsushige, who is famous for being in the drama “Kodoku No Gurume. In addition, actors Kim Dong-wook, Kim Sarang, Seo Hyun-jin, Yang Se-jong, Jang Hyuk, Jeong Ryeo-won, Cha Seung-won, Ha Seok-jin, Han Ye-seul, and Hwang Jung-min will attend the award show.”

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, ‘2018 MAMA’ is a global music award hosted by CJ ENM, which will be held on December 14th in three regions, including Korea, the first venue of the event, Japan and Hong Kong.
