LOONA topped iTunes Kpop Album Chart with “++”

With the release of their debut mini album “++” at 6:00 PM KST on August 20th, LOONA took the lead of the iTunes K-pop album chart in six countries including the U.S. the U.K, Canada, Australia, Singapore and the Philippines.

In addition to the album chart, their title track “Hi High” (Hi High) also topped the K-pop song charts in the U.S. and the U.K.

Furthermore, their single “favOrite,” which was released on May 7, also made its way in many K-pop charts and pop charts from various countries around the world, including the U.S, the U.K and Canada.

We will focus on domestic activities for fans who have been waiting and cheering for a long time since 12 girls are finally making their debut together,” said Blockberry Creative, LOONA’s label. They also added, “The global LOONA will boost their activities to the max”.

In addition, LOONA sold out tickets for their exclusive concert “LOONAbirth”, which was held in Olympic Hall in Banghakdong, Songpa-gu, Seoul on August 19th. It can be seen that the achievement has marked a successful debut for the 12 girls.

Meanwhile, LOONA’s first full-length mini album ‘++’ (Plus Plus) contains a total of six songs, including the high-energy signature with  title song “Hi High” and the lead single “favOrite,” which is represented by LOONA’s signature sound.
