Lisa’s “LALISA” becomes the fastest music video by a female K-pop solo artist to reach 300 million views on YouTube

The music video for the title song “LALISA” of BLACKPINK Lisa’s solo album has surpassed 300 million views on YouTube.

YG Entertainment announced, Lisa’s ‘LALISA’ music video hit 300 million views on YouTube at 3:46 PM on October 27.” The video was released on September 10, meaning it took 48 days to reach the milestone. Lisa’s “LALISA” is now the fastest music video by a female K-pop solo artist to reach 300 million views. The previous record was held by Jennie’s “SOLO” music video (183 days).

The “LALISA” music video showed the fourth steepest increase in BLACKPINK’s entire records. Following the music videos of “How You Like That” (21 days), “Kill This Love” (32 days) and “Ice Cream” (34 days), it has achieved 300 million views in a short period of time. It is about 20 days ahead of the most-watched Kpop music video “DDU-DU DDU-DU” (1.7 billion views).

Lisa’s other songs are also cruising. Although a month has passed since its release, “MONEY” is still showing its potential by rising to 54th place in the UK’s Official Singles Chart and 5th place in the Spotify Global Top 200 Chart. In addition, her collaboration song “SG” with DJ Snake was also ranked on various global charts.

Meanwhile, the number of subscribers to BLACKPINK’s YouTube channel has reportedly increased by nearly 3.9 million since Lisa’s solo debut. Currently, BLACKPINK has more than 68.7 million subscribers, ranking first among male and female artists around the world.
