Lee Jung-jae tops the January Brand Reputation Chart between movie actors, 2nd place is Choi Woo-sik

As a result of big data analysis in January 2022 of movie star brand reputation, No. 1 is Lee Jung-jae, No. 2 is Choi Woo-sik, and No. 3 is Oh Il-nam.

From December 31, 2021 to January 31, 2022, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed the big data reputation algorithm by classifying 150,295,510 brand big data of 50 movie stars loved by Korean consumers into relationships with consumers and brands. Compared to 203,316,792 brand big data from movie actors in October 2021, it has decreased by 26.08%.

The brand reputation index is an indicator that extracts brand big data and analyzes consumer behavior, classifies it into participation value, communication value, media value, community value, and social value, and weights the positive ratio. In the movie star brand reputation index, consumers’ brand consumption patterns were analyzed with participation index, media index, communication index, and community index.

The top 30 of movie actor’s Brand Reputation Chart in January is: Lee Jung-jae, Choi Woo-sik, Oh Il-nam, Jung Hae-in, Gong Yoo, Kim Da-mi, Yoo Ah-in, Son Ye-jin, Lee Kwang-soo, Seol Kyung-gu, Lee Yoo-mi, Song Ji-hyo, Lee Sun-kyun, Hwang Jung-min, Song Joong-ki, Park Seo-joon, Han So-hee, Han Hyo-joo, Kim Young-kwang, Han Ji-min, Lee Jin-woon, Kim Hyun–soo, Lee Byung-hun, Lee Honey, Im Yoon-ah, Kim Hye-su, Ma Dong-seok, Jo Jin-woong, Lee Seo-jin, and Jeon Yeo-bin.

Lee Jung-jae, which ranked No. 1 in terms of movie star’s brand reputation this month, was analyzed to have a brand reputation index of 9,840,853 with 1,199,540 in participation index, 2,153,288 media index, 2,516,782 communication index, and 3,971,243 community index.

Choi Woo-sik‘s brand ranked second and was analyzed to have a brand reputation index of 9,452,189. In third place, Oh Il-nam brand was analyzed to have a brand reputation index of 7,892,367. In fourth place, Jeong Hae-in‘s brand was analyzed to have a brand reputation index of 7,635,845. Fifth place Gong Yoo has a brand reputation index of 5,109,460.

Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Institute for Corporate Reputation, said, “As a result of the brand reputation analysis of movie stars in January 2022, movie star Lee Jung-jae’s brand ranked first. When analyzing the movie star brand category in the big data, it has decreased 26.08% compared to the movie star brand big data 203,316,792 in October 2021. According to a detailed analysis, brand consumption rose 39.55%, brand issues fell 51.29%, brand communication fell 3.89%, and brand spread fell 34.29%,” he said.

Lee Jung-jae, who topped the movie star brand reputation in January 2022, receives keywords such as “warm, promote, and breakthrough” in his link analysis, and “Squid Game, Yoo Quiz, 2030 Busan World Expo” in his keyword analysis.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzes brand big data to determine the change in celebrities’ brand reputations.
