Lee Jong Suk revealed that he is feeling nervous about portraying his character in the drama Big Mouth.
In a recent interview with Arena Homme Plus magazine, Lee Jong Suk opened up about his upcoming projects.
After being discharged from the military, the actor has continuously confirmed his participation in many new projects. Lee Jong Suk and SNSD’s YoonA are reportedly starring together in the drama Big Mouth.
The actor shared that he is feeling nervous because his character in this drama has many differences compared to his previous roles. However, Lee Jong Suk himself is looking forward to the drama.
“My character is a mature and married person. The role is a new challenge for me in terms of image. Therefore, I always feel pressured to portray the character in the best way. But I think I will learn a lot thanks to this role. It’s very new to me.” – the actor shared.
In Big Mouth, Lee Jong Suk takes on the role of Park Chang Ho, an incompetent lawyer with only 10% chance of winning a lawsuit. Park Chang Ho is a man who can only talk the talk but fails to walk the walk. Things take a turn when he accidentally has to take on a murder case. After just one night, this case turns Park Chang Ho into a genius con artist. In order to survive and protect his family, he must expose the schemes of powerful elites.
Big Mouth is written by Jang Young Chul and Jung Kyung Soon – the scriptwriter duo who gained huge attention with the series “Vagabond”. The upcoming drama is directed by Oh Choong Hwan – the director behind the success of Hotel Del Luna. Big Mouth is expected to be released in 2022.
