Actor Lee Jong Suk is expected to win Daesang for the second time at the 2022 MBC Drama Awards.
The 2022 MBC Drama Awards will be held live at 8:30 p.m. on December 30th by hosts Kim Sung Joo and Girls’ Generation Choi Soo Young. While paying attention to which actor will be awarded Daesang (Grand Prize), many viewers point out Lee Jong Suk as a strong candidate.
Lee Jong Suk met MBC viewers through the drama “Big Mouth” this year, “Big Mouth”, which ended after airing episode 16 on September 17, tells about a lawyer with a 10% winning rate, who accidentally gets involved in a murder case and becomes the rare genius conman Big Mouse overnight, digging into the huge conspiracy among the privileged upper classes to survive and protect his family.

The production team was criticized for abandoning the completeness of the work by making the ending nothing more than a stepping stone to introduce a new season. In addition, “Big Mouth” was called an ‘anticlimax’ drama despite achieving high ratings.
If Lee Jong Suk wins Daesang at the 2022 MBC Drama Awards, this will be his second Daesang after the first time with the role of Kang Chul in the drama “W” at the 2016 MBC Drama Awards.
