Lee Jin cheers for Song Hye Kyo ahead of “The Glory” release: Beautiful 20-year friendship 

Song Hye Kyo is about to make a comeback in Netflix’s “The Glory”, and her best friend is anticipating it. 

On December 8th, singer Lee Jin posted the poster of Netflix’s upcoming series “The Glory” and showed support for Song Hye Kyo, saying, “Our Kyo’s drama that I have been waiting for and looking forward to for a long time.”

Song Hye Kyo and Lee Jin met in the first year of high school and have been friends for over 20 years. Lee Jin currently lives in New York after getting married, but she has maintained her friendship with Song Hye Kyo despite their distance. 

Netflix’s “The Glory”, marking the reunion of Song Hye Kyo and screenwriter Kim Eun Sook, will be released on December 30th. Song Hye Kyo plays the main character Dong Eun, a woman whose soul was shattered by childhood violence. “The Glory” depicts the desperate revenge she has prepared meticulously throughout her life and those who fall into the whirlpool of her revenge.

Song Hye Kyo also posted “The Glory” poster and teasers on her Instagram to promote her own work. Under Song Hye Kyo’s post, her colleagues also showed support. Actress Park Sol Mi commented, “There is no forgiveness… I’m having goosebumps”. Actress Song Yoon Ah commented, “Oh my god! Finally!” 

Meanwhile, “The Glory” is penned by Kim Eun Sook, the writer of “Descendants of the Sun”, “Goblin” and “Mr. Sunshine,” and directed by Ahn Gil Ho, who directed “Stranger.”
