Lee Bo Young on “Agency”, “I had fun filming a character with no empathy nor humanity”

Actress Lee Bo Young commented on her unique character in the upcoming JTBC drama “Agency”.

At the press conference for the JTBC’s new Saturday drama “Agency”, which was held online on the afternoon of January 5th, actress Lee Bo Young introduced her character, who is an orphan.

In particular, her role is a top-tier person who can easily gauge all performance indicators of the advertising industry, including PT success rate and TV CF evaluation score.

“I am playing a goal-oriented person, who cares more about winning than the process. This character also has no empathy nor humanity, she thinks she is good on her own. However, since she never says anything wrong, this is a character that people can’t really refute”, Lee Bo Young described.

At the same time, the actress said, “I had fun filming this work because I am thrilled to play a character who was so goal-oriented and faithful to her desires.”

On the other hand, “Agency” is a K-drama that revolves around elegant and desperate advertisers. Here, Go Ah In (Lee Bo Young), who became the first female executive in a VC group, builds her career beyond being the first to reach the best position.

“Agency” is set to premiere on January 7th.
