LE SSERAFIM has had a successful debut in Japan so far, thanks to the members’ individual activities.
LE SSERAFIM’s Japanese debut single “Fearless – Japanese ver.” remains at the top of the Oricon chart, dominating the weekly single rankings. From the 23rd to 29th of last month, the group sold a total of 222.286 copies.
Considering that LE SSERAFIM made their Japanese debut on the 25th of last month, the group is performing well in the market. Particularly, it is also the first time in roughly five years that a debut album of an overseas female artist who debuted in Japan has topped the weekly score.
LE SSERAFIM debuted in Korea on May 10th last year with their M/V “Fearless” surpassed 100 million views within 100 days of its debut. Their comeback “ANTIFRAGILE” also surpassed 100 million views in 90 days of its release, breaking their own record.
What differentiates LE SSERAFIM from other groups is the members’ individual activities.
Kim Chaewon announced her participation in ENA entertainment program “Hyemi-ri Ye Chae-pa,” which announced broadcast in March. Sakura has recently opened a personal YouTube channel. Huh Yunjin recently released her self-composed song “Raise y_our glass.” Kazuha was selected as a model for Etude, a makeup brand. Hong Eunchae, the youngest member of the group, was selected as the new MC of KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank.”
