Kris Wu’s wax figure in Shanghai was immediately dressed in a prisoner’s outfit after his shocking scandal

In 2015, at the age of 25, Kris Wu (Wu Yifan) was honored to have his own wax figure sculpted for exhibition in Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Shanghai.

Over half of last month, Chinese entertainment was swamped by Kris Wu‘s shocking scandal. Many artists have been implicated in this scandal, from his close colleagues to the stars who have defended the male singer in the past. Now, the whole showbiz avoids Wu Yifan, no one dares to stand close to this ‘drama king’.

In another development, Chinese netizens spread the image of a wax figure of the former EXO member at Madame Tussauds Shanghai Museum that was ‘dressed up’ uniquely. Previously, this figure was designed with an elegant white suit simulating a Prince Charming image, but now the clothes have been changed to… a blue jumpsuit, with a striped chest symboling jail bars.

On SNS, Cnets are commenting enthusiastically, “Haha, really?”, “The museum is so agile”, “They must be having no idea of how to blow this sh*t off”, “Spending money to make a wax figure for a worthless one,” etc.

However, netizens pointed out that this jumpsuit is just a product of photo editing. Even though, many people still praise the owner of the edited photo for being quick to catch up with the ‘trend’.

It is known that the wax figure of Wu Yifan was public in 2015 at the famous Madame Tussauds Shanghai museum. At that time, Wu Yifan was just 25 years old and had just left SM for less than a year. The male singer had made many people jealous when he achieved so much success and fame in China for such a short time.
