A netizen claiming to be an acquaintance of actor Kim Seon-ho refuted allegations regarding Kim Seon-ho fans’ public opinion manipulation.
Earlier on the morning of Oct 21st, in the Nate comment section, an argument broke out about how a “public opinion manipulation plan is taking place in Kim Seon-ho‘s fan group chat.” In the photo released along with this, someone was talking in a group chat about “an influencer whose relative is a famous actor. Her family and Kim Seon-ho’s have met. They were dating on the premise of marriage. Members of that group chat then told each other to spread that information online, and when one user asked, “Is it okay to spread false information?” they replied, “It is more important to change the public opinion.” In response, later that day, a netizen claiming to be an acquaintance of Kim Seon-ho refuted through their SNS account, saying, “Someone has maliciously created that rumor and framed his fans for doing it.”
“According to the evidence which is the chat log presented by the person who accused fans of spreading false rumors, the time of the order to spread the rumor was 2 a.m. on Oct 21st,” they said. “But rumors related to Kim Seon-ho’s current girlfriend have spread since the evening of Oct 20th.” They added, “The time doesn’t match, does it? When I pointed out this part, that person immediately deleted their comment (which accused fans of manipulating public opinion).”
