Kim Junsu confessed, “After leaving TVXQ, I couldn’t do broadcasting activities but made almost 100 times more money.”

Kim Junsu, a musical actor and a former member of TVXQ and JYJ, confessed his feelings after leaving the groups.

On October 1, Kim Junsu appeared on Channel A’s “Oh Eun Young’s Golden Counseling Center” and confessed concerns when his physical greed and motivation disappeared.

During the broadcast, Kim Junsu drew a life graph himself and explained, “When I debuted as a member of TVXQ, I was living in a dream-like time. When I was in my mid-20s, there was a fall in the graph because I left the group. At that time, I didn’t even dare to think that I would be able to do activities like I am doing now. I chose to withdraw from the group myself, but at the same time, I also wondered if I could still be a singer. Therefore, I thought if I had vocal lessons, I would at least have something related to singing to talk about.”

After recalling the times when he left his group, he said, “I did some calculations roughly, and I believed I would be in my mid-30s after finishing my military service. I wondered if I was living a truly happy life, even though it didn’t seem to look happy on the outside. I just thought it would be better to end my life at that moment.”

Then, Oh Eun Young asked, “Were broadcasting activities not as easy as you thought then?” and Kim Junsu surprised everyone with his answer, “Yes. Everything was ambiguous. I couldn’t do any broadcasting activities, but I made almost 100 times more money.”

MC Jeong Hyung Don immediately asked, “Since you mentioned this, is there anything that upset and made you regret because you couldn’t reveal everything back then?“. In response, Kim Junsu explained, “There was something like this. Whenever people saw me, they would say, ‘He’s the ungrateful guy who was still able to buy a house and earn money but left the company and claimed it was because of the slave contract’. But actually, I achieved all those things within a year after my withdrawal.”

After hearing all the stories that Kim Junsu told, she said, “Not only celebrities but ordinary people also have a thing called “real self”. You went through a huge crisis or change when you left the company. Perhaps the change made you feel stressed, but you would become more mature when you handled it well. I believe you belong to this case.”
