Kep1er’s dance practice video unexpectedly sparked controversy about Huening Bahiyyih’s body proportions

Even when comparing Huening Bahiyyih with other members, some netizens think that Choi Yujin is really the one with the most outstanding body.

On November 9, rookie girl group Kep1er uploaded the first video on their own YouTube channel since the 9 members selected from the survival reality show “Girls Planet 999“.  The dance practice video for “OOO” – the title song of “Girls Planet 999”, also marks the first time the 9 girls Kim Chaehyun, Huening Bahiyyih, Choi Yujin, Kim Dayeon, Seo Youngeun, Kang Yeseo, Ezaki Hikaru, Sakamoto Mashiro and Shen Xiaoting performed together as a group.

However, when fans had not yet fully rejoiced because of this special gift, the dance practice video “OOO” Kep1er version quickly sparked a series of controversies in the online community due to various issues. Recently, a fierce debate broke out on the Nate Pann forum regarding Huening Bahiyyih‘s body proportions.

From before being selected to the Kep1er lineup until now, Huening Bahiyyih has always been the name that makes Korean netizens wonder if her visual is suitable to become a female idol.  However, amid the endless controversies in the past, fans pointed out that Bahiyyih still has the advantage in terms of body because she has the ideal height of 166cm.  The tall body makes her stand out more when standing on stage.

And when appearing in the dance practice video “OOO” in sportswear, Huening Bahiyyih‘s healthy, toned body became the focus of fans’ attention and brought her a lot of compliments as some people praised that this girl has very nice body proportions.

However, on the contrary, many others asserted that if compared with the rest of Kep1er’s members, Huening Bahiyyih’s body cannot be considered as truly outstanding.  Many netizens thought that her body proportions are only on par with Seo Youngeun – who is much shorter in height than her.  After watching Kep1er’s first dance practice, Korean netizens also stated that the members that caught their attention the most were Shen Xiaoting and Choi Yujin, not Huening Bahiyyih.
