Kang Ye-won: “Joy is honest and straightforward. When I first met her, she told me that she had a boyfriend”

Kang Ye-won was surprised by Joy’s honesty.

Actresses Kang Ye-won, Ahn Eun-jin, and Red Velvet Joy (Park Soo-young), who play the main characters in JTBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama “The One and Only”, appeared as guests on the broadcast of SBS Power FM’s ‘Wendy’s Youngstreet’ aired on December 20th.

On this day, 3 actresses mentioned their first impressions of each other. Joy recalled that time and said, “Eunjin unnie looked intelligent. She wore glasses, so that made her look smart. She spoke softly and quietly, so I didn’t know she would have such a lovely side like now.”

Regarding her first impression of Kang Ye-won, Joy said, “In fact, I was really scared of her before our first meeting. But it turned out that she was really funny, and she took good care of me.”

Kang Ye-won also shared a story, saying, “In fact, I couldn’t watch Eunjin’s drama, but I did finish 2 episodes before meeting her. When I looked at her, I thought she could act really well and was an actor that left a good impression on me.”

When it came to Joy, Kang Ye-won said, “She is a familiar friend who also appeared on MBC’s We Got Married. I was really surprised when Joy told me honestly that she had a boyfriend right from the first time I met her. The two, an idol (Joy) and a rookie actor (Ahn Eun-jin),  were so sincere and also opened their heart quickly. My first impressions of them were all good.”

Joy has been publicly dating singer Crush since August. It is known that the two developed into lovers from being friends after working together for the collaboration single “Mayday” in May last year.

The first episode of JTBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama “The One and Only”, starring Kang Ye-won, Ahn Eun-jin and Joy, was aired on December 20th.
