BTS swept all 4 Daesangs at the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards even without attendance.
The 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) took place at 6PM KST on December 11 at CJ ENM’s Contents World in Paju, Gyeonggi province, Korea. Every year MAMA garners much attention because netizens are always curious to see if Mnet pulled any “plot twist” with their awards. Notably, this year is the first time after 7 years that BTS was absent from the artist lineup of MAMA, so fans were worried that Mnet would reduce their Daesangs and give them to other groups.
