K-drama characters who are surprisingly the same age

Many viewers don’t realize these characters are the same age.

There are numerous coming-of-age or romantic Korean dramas with leading characters around the same age. But because of the actors’ appearance and the styling teams, the viewers forget the similarity in age of these characters.

1. Male high school students:

They are all boys from high schools, but each character exudes a different aura.  While Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) in The Heirs has a luxurious style of a rich kid and is a bit older than his age, True Beauty’s Lee Su Ho (Cha Eun Woo) is perfectly handsome. Meanwhile, the character Choi Woong of Our Beloved Summer played by Choi Woo Sik has the image that resembles a real high school student.

2. Female high school students:

On Your Wedding Day’s Seung Hee, True Beauty’s Lim Ju Kyung, and Love Alarm’s Kim Jojo all appear with a pure and sweet first-love-like beauty. If we don’t mention the real age of Park Bo Young, Moon Ga Young, Kim So Hyun or Kim Hye Yoon, many people think that these actresses are the same age.  Because the characters played by these actresses all have a youthful and radiant appearance.

3. Female college students:

It’s difficult to realize that Gangnam Beauty’s Kang Mi Rae (Im Soo Hyang) and Snowdrop’s Young Ro (Jisoo) are actually the same age. Yoo Nabi (Han So Hee) of Nevertheless is also a female college student around the same age. However, Jisoo’s Young Ro seems to exude more youthful and refreshing vibes compared to the other two characters.

4. Men in their 30s:

Hong Doo Sik (Kim Seon Ho) of Hometown Cha Cha Cha, Gong Woo Jin (Yang Se Jong) of Still 17 and Jae Won (Ji Chang Wook) of Lovestruck In The City are all characters in their 30s. Chief Hong gives off warm and mature vibes, Woo Jin exudes a boyish charm, while Jae Woon is a dynamic city guy. It is hard to believe that these 3 different characters are actually same-age friends.
